Meet Craig Moore - Viva Soccer's Ambassador
Craig Moore has had a varied and successful career, having played for a number of clubs around the World and represented his country more than 45 times, which is one of the greatest achievements a soccer player can hope for.
Craig represented the Socceroos during the 2006 FIFA World Cup where he scored a penalty kick against Croatia in the 39th minute of the game, enabling Australia to progress to the second round. He was also the captain of the ‘Olyroos’, the Australian Olympic Football Team at the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Greece when they managed to reach the quarter finals.
He spent much of his career playing for Scottish Club Glasgow Rangers after signing from the Australia Institute of Sport in 1993. Take a look at the Clubs that Craig has played for:
