Our fully qualified coaches will have a minimum of an FFA Junior License. In addition to this, they will all have a Positive Notice Blue Card which can be inspected at any time and a full police check. In other words, everything you would expect from someone responsible for looking after your child. Our coaches will have attended a Viva Soccer Induction Course to ensure that they are running the course the way that we want them to. And to ensure that we maintain a high standard, we have an internal quality process whereby we will ensure our training is refreshed to keep it exciting for your child. On every soccer clinic or holiday camp, there will be at least one qualified first aider in attendance. In addition, we have full insurance cover which is always available for download and inspection. We are also keen to ensure that there is respect for others. The coaches are there to ensure that children aren’t injured from unnecessary hard tackling or poor ball control. Therefore, there will be supervision at all times with a zero tolerance policy to bad language and unacceptable attitude. For the safety and respect of others, any repeat offenders will be excluded from future camps or clinics. If you're interested in the type of training and soccer drills that we use, then take a look at the drill and session library that we use. The health benefit As you may have heard in the news, the number of overweight children in Australia has doubled in recent years with one of the main factors being a lack of physical activity. Television, computers and other electronic games seem to be replacing physical activities. Viva Soccer offers an alternative to these armchair pursuits, giving your child an opportunity to be part of a team and have fun! Our motto - Using the power of soccer to have a positive impact on children – shows that we are focussed, youngster driven and success orientated and want to help your child enjoy not only soccer, but being involved in a physical activity. Healthy eating also plays an important role in your child's ability to not only play sport, but to ensure that they have heaps of energy for all activities and to help them grow to be big and strong. Take a look at our healthy eating page for information on the best foods for an active lifestyle - it may help change your life too! |
